About 1832 Studio and Gallery 


Jim Williams is the artist and proprietor of 1832 Studio and Gallery. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Hunter College in New York City, and his Master of Fine Arts at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  He currently teaches Color Design, Fundamentals of Design, and Book and Portfolio Design at Indiana/Purdue University in Fort Wayne.
 

He has shown hiswork at galleries in New York and Atlanta, and has pieces in the rare and valuable book collection at the Library of theUniversity of Alabama.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In having this studio and gallery, my mission is to do what I love to do and to share it with others through service, commerce and education.
